Blogopolis 2013: Into the Wild (Discover and Explore the Information Jungle!)

I wasn't able to attend last year's Blogopolis with theme: ONLIne in the PHilippines because of some conflicts on my schedules.  They focused on engaging and educating us bloggers of the ever-growing Filipino blogosphere. 

The conference covered topics related to blogging and its four pillars - content, marketing, monetization and advocacy. It served as an introduction to the blogging industry with the goal of helping our community further our blogging skill set and knowledge.

I missed a lot of opportunities last year: the opportunity to learn a lot about the online communities and how to earn from my blog and the opportunity to acquaint with my fellow bloggers.  My GodMother told me that it was fun.  She even won a brand new iPhone 5, very lucky!

This year, Blink and Nuffnang Philippines will take us to the information Jungle via Blogopolis 2013 theme "Into the Wild" (Weaving Information for Leaders of the Digital world).

This one is very timely and can help us cope up in this digital world with fast-paced technologies, the surge of social media, and other online platforms.

Key speakers will be discussing social media know-how and digital marketing and advertising trends. And I want to learn a lot from them.  Yes, I am working in an IT Company and also I am a blogger, but that doesn't mean I know enough about social media and the advertising trends online.  I wanna lean more not just to earn a lot (someday) but to gain additional knowledge to share with others and maybe just a self fulfillment. :)

Blogopolis 2013 is a day-long event starting with plenary sessions in the afternoon (last year they started in the morning), and a post-conference party at night where key influencers in the industry will be awarded.
